Jack black’s latest Rotten tomatoes score for this Jared Hess flick barely breaking 50% positive, you would think it was all rotten flesh. But the reality is the current box office numbers are 550 million, beating Hollywood sweet hearts Harry potter. It proves that Hollywood unintentional/intentionally whacked the flint and steel to a birch tree.

They renewed the love for gaming Gem, and almost 14 years after its full release, it still is not understood. This movie is already a classic and will be floating around like frozen did for years to come.

Hollywood tried to mine diamond with an stone pickaxe,

Producers and reviewers alike seem to expect every film that debuts to be the best story, the best cinematography, the best in costumes! The reality is, like when Minecraft (the game) originally released, it was an instant hit because blockbuster game studios forgot why people game and intended to shovel microtransactions and add-ons into every video game, and slowly they became more like hollywood’s movies. We thought we needed better graphics, better storylines, and the best online servers. Ultimately, Minecraft had absolutely none of these things, because what it lacked in budget it made up for in character. Now Hollywood thought this was supposed to be the next Super Mario.

Minecraft redefined Indie games for years to come, it was all about having fun. Your Call of duty, Assassins creed is about selling you a 60$ game each year. How did they not see it? Obviously, Jack Black, who went by the gamer tag Jblinsky on his YouTube channel did. I am even convinced he is the only reason this half a billion-dollar movie happened. We found ourselves in a moment that began to fade as we got older, and through the digital media age, it was only bound for there to be memes off of this movie, this game was played by almost everyone below the age of 35.

Why does traditional Hollywood reviewers still clash? Is it about the “Art”?

Ultimately, we are about to see numerous other indie games made to movies, I’m certain roblox is next. Hopefully, they forget that these games are not about being the one which provoked the most thought, instead they are about kids wanting to get more happiness out of a beloved game, and that goes for all the adults out here, the kids that are within all of them.

There was no risk in this film, only possible success. Gamers just wanted some fun representation in Hollywood through the theatrical meme-able jack black. Its really not that hard to understand. And I hope this doesn’t just reflect to Hollywood, but corporate giants like Microsoft, they need to remember that games are just to have fun.
